Their power play was lethal, contributing to three of their five goals, and they kept United on the defensive throughout much of the game. D. Provost Jarry was a force for the Generals, finding the back of the net twice, including a key power-play marker that put the game out of reach. The Generals’ special teams were sharp, taking advantage of United’s penalty trouble to maintain control of the game. While United mounted a small comeback in the third period, scoring two late goals to break the shutout, F. Gagnon was solid in net for the Generals, making crucial saves to keep the score line comfortable. United’s late surge wasn’t enough to turn the tide, as the Generals’ defensive efforts stifled any hopes of a larger rally.

Snipers' Struggles Continue with Loss to Armadillos

The Snipers' season woes deepened as they dropped their fifth consecutive game, this time falling 7-4 to the Armadillos. Once again, a slow start plagued the Snipers, as they quickly found themselves trailing by three goals early on, a recurring issue that forces them to play catch-up far too often. Despite the early deficit, the Snipers showed resilience, battling back to cut the Armadillos' lead to 5-4 by the third period. However, their efforts weren’t enough as the Armadillos regained control late in the game. N. Chiminian was instrumental for the Armadillos, setting up four goals and securing the win with an empty-netter in the final minute. P. Legatos also had a strong performance, recording a hat trick to help his team maintain their lead. For the Snipers, while the fight was there, the inability to get off to a strong start continues to hurt them. Their comeback attempt was admirable, but they fell short once again. The Armadillos capitalized on key opportunities, extending the Snipers' losing streak to five games.

With Team Canada leading 1-0 in the series, both teams entered Game 2 with everything at stake. Team Greece, despite being the underdogs, put up a commendable challenge, forcing Team Canada to work for every inch of the court. The game was marked by intense back-and-forth action, with both teams trading blows throughout the match. Team Greece got on board first, taking an early 1-0 lead in the second period on a goal by S.Karageorgos , surprising many who expected Team Canada to dominate.
