It was a contest marked by resilience and determination-from both sides. The Rangers did come out prepared as they mounted a 4-1 lead by the mid way point of the game. It took about twenty minutes before the Blues finally had something to show for on the score sheet. Sometimes, it takes a single spark in order to ignite your bench. Once K.Fereira ended the spell, the Blues offense started to click putting together some nice looking plays. G.Papadakis scored two straight times to draw even 5-5 for the Blues. As the back and forth action continued throughout the game, the Rangers were able to pull ahead once again, and who other than M.Cimenelli to take charge. The forward was definitely on top of his game converting for a fourth time to position the Rangers in the drivers seat. The situation appeared to be bleak for the trailing side. While time continued to click away, G.Pace narrowed the gap by one leaving more than enough time for an equaliser. The Blues, determined to make a serious push, got their opportunity to level when the Rangers took an untimely penalty. C.White showed great poise under pressure as he delivered on a sweet finish to help force the extra time. Once the game entered the sudden death frame, the Blues carried their late momentum and finished it off thanks to K.Fereira’s second tally of the game.

Golden Knights comeback bid denied, Oilers secure victory in nail biter

After trading some back and forth goals in the early stages of the game, the Oilers were able to pull away establishing a significant advantage that saw them ahead 7-3 by the 41 minute mark. With a combination of speed, skill and teamwork they were able to extend their lead looking very comfortable for a an easy finish. Then, within the final few minutes remaining, the Golden Knights intensified their efforts, launching a spirited comeback attempt. Four of their seven goals all came in that final stretch with A.Kalaydjian setting up three tallies that saw Y.Karbirkhan benefit twice. The relentless attack eventually put the Oilers on high alert. Despite their valiant late game push, the Golden Knights ultimately ran out of time, falling just short of completing the comeback as the Oilers held on for the narrow win. The victory was attributed to an overall team success as eight different players found the back of the net. The only player that might have had a little more flare to his game was D.Melo collecting a total of four points.

As the game wore on , D.Melo’s influence only grew stronger, as he played a pivotal role in maintaining the Oilers momentum and controlling the flow of the game. By the time the game ended , D.Melo led all players with a goal and three assists.
Senators surge late to overpower Stars

The game featuring the Stars and the Senators showcased some early back and fort action with neither side gaining a significant edge. Then, a pair of quick goals by M.DaSilva tilted the court, and the Senators were able to pull away on a late surge. Despite facing stiff competition by the Stars, the Senators remained composed on executing their game plan before eventually pulling away. S.Sicuso had a major impact in the final result, setting up five tallies while netting one himself. S.Mascitto chipped in with a pair for the win while G.Charron and P.Paikopoulos did their part in the loss rattling off two goals each. The Stars did an overall fine job competing with their opponent until a late let down saw them chasing the game on a deficit that they couldn’t overcome.
