(7)Krazy Train vs Brew Crew(4)
It wasn’t up until the second period that the Krazy Train found their rhythm, displaying fluid passing and relentless offensive pressure that left the Brew Crew struggling to keep pace. With some nice finishing plays, and solid goaltending by P.Delli Colli, the Krazy Train surged ahead on the scoreboard, establishing a lead that would prove difficult for the Brew Crew to overcome. D.Lombardi rattled off a hat trick after receiving a pair of sweet passes by D.Greco. Also in the mix was D.Charbonneau, who complemented his line mates on two perfect releases. Despite facing a deficit, the Brew Crew fought valiantly making sure that the Krazy Train had to work for their win. A four goal hole turned into a two goal hole which started to sound the alarm bells for the Krazy Train, especially with the Brew Crew awarded a power play opportunity. And rather than capitalising with the man advantage, D.Lombardi crushed all hope by netting a shorthanded goal that involved incredible patience to fake out the net minder.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to David Lombardi of the Krazy Train. In a gripping ball hockey showdown, D.Lombardi delivered a stellar performance, netting a sensational hat trick to lead his team to victory.
