The World Junior Championships officially ended last weekend and the three Canadian teams did very well: The U20 and U18 won the gold, while the U16 team came back with the bronze medal.
U20 Final :
(3) Canada - Czech Republic (2)
The final match of the U20 category brought a great drama. The Canadians opened the scoreline and most of the time were pushing the Czech team, but the home players managed to turn around the score in the second period. Anyway, thanks to the powerplays, the Canadians scored two more in the final part and secured the third gold medal in a row. The winning goal was scored by Tony Brar.
