E.Allen saves collapse for Team Red bagging late winner
(10)Team Red vs Team Orange(9)
Team Red took on Team Orange in what turned out to be one of the most exciting games so far this season. D.Galloro got Team Orange on board, but Team Red took over right away riding three consecutive goals. Throughout the entire time-from that point on, Team Red played in front on a slight margin. They eventually managed to build in what appeared to be a comfortable 9-6 lead with just over five minutes remaining. Normally you should close out the deal with that kind of a gap and with so little time left over. However, that wasn’t the case at all with Team Orange generating late pressure as they looked to battle back into the game. To their credit, they strung three straight goals in only two minutes with S.Fabrici evening the score. Since this contest was extremely volatile, it came to no ones surprise that somebody was going to score before the clock ran out of time. Luckily enough for Team Red, E.Allen responded with the go ahead marker that barely held up for a crazy finish. The win was backed up by J.Choudhry, who netted a hat trick while D.Greco did the same but in a losing cause.
The SalumiVino player of the game goes to Jamie Choudhry of Team Red. Thanks to his strong plays and vision, J.Choudhry was again a big asset for Team Red bagging a hat trick.
Team Black outlast Team Green in high scoring affair
(16)Team Black vs Team Green(9)
It really didn’t take long for this one to pick up right away in what became a total nightmare for the goaltenders. At no point did this contest ever settle down as the goals just kept coming-from the two sides. After falling behind early 3-1, Team Black caught fire, and Team Green weren’t able to cool them down having to endure an unstoppable torrid offense. Team Black were practically scoring every minute or two that lasted the entire time. Its not like Team Green didn’t get their fair share of goal scoring as it was their play without the ball that ultimately hurt them in the end. You just cannot give up that many goals in order to have a chance. While P.Petraccione and T.Nardelli put up some nice numbers finishing off with a total of eight points each, Team Black had many of their players chipping in as well with C.Arnoldo riffling a hat trick and P.Lopez accumulating six points. As for Team Green, P.Santullo and M.Saia potted hat tricks, S.Sauk buried a pair, and M.Destounis was behind setting up six goals.
The SalumiVino player of the game goes to Pat Petraccione of Team Black. Always a force out there, P.Petraccione directed the offense making lots of plays happen that resulted in him collecting a total of eight points.
