The Krazy Train exhibited a relentless work ethic and commitment to their game plan, with each player contributing to the teams commanding performance. From-stout defensive play led by their net minder C.Ekonomakis, to fluid transitions in attack, Krazy Train operated like a well oiled machine, leaving little room for the Generals to create much. It was by the second period where the game tilted in the Krazy Trains favour. After notching four unanswered goals, the Krazy Train added two more in the third by J.Russo, who delivered a master class performance bagging a total whopping four goals. Despite their best efforts, the Generals found themselves outmatched and outplayed by a team that came ready to play. That being said, the Generals have little to worry about knowing that this was just a meaningless game in the grand scheme of things.

In a fiercely contested ball hockey clash, the Brew Crew and Rated R battled it out on the court, providing the fans with a thrilling display of skill and determination. While the Brew Crew battled back late in the second period to even the score, D.Bertrand came in the clutch late in the game to capture the win for Rated R. The Brew Crew are very resilient, and it showed once more tonight as they mounted a nice little comeback on scoring efforts by M.Pace and L.Ricciardi. Now that the game was hanging in the balance, both teams played it cautious in hopes of avoiding any costly mistakes. As the clock started to click down and tensions reached a fever pitch, D.Bertrand delivered a clutch performance, netting a late goal that ultimately proved to be the difference maker. The Brew Crew’s time ran out before they could muster another equaliser, leaving them to rue missed opportunities and contemplate what might have been. In the end, the game was decided by one big play in a match up that could have easily gone either way.

Right-from the opening face off, both teams traded blows in a fast paced and hard fought contest. The Armadillos, known for their never say die attitude, refused to let the Fatal Demons dictate the pace of the game, matching their opponents stride for stride with tenacious defensive play and incisive attacking manoeuvres. Despite falling on multiple occasions, the Armadillos refused to let their heads drop, rallying each time to draw level with the Fatal Demons. However, the Fatal Demons, with their lethal offensive prowess, proved to be a formidable opponent, answering each Armadillos goals with one of their own. With C.Gingras snapping a 3-3 third period tie followed with T.Langiano’s huge power play goal, the Fatal Demons managed to maintain their slender lead en route to a hard fought win over the recent champs.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Johnny Russo of the Krazy Train. The relentless forward displayed a complete offensive arsenal that left the opposing defence scrambling to contain. By the time it was said and done, J.Russo showed off his scoring touch by putting four behind the Generals net minder.
