F.Mastrocola’s early hat trick ignites Kraken in offensive showdown vs the Sabres

In a fast paced showdown, the Sabres fought tooth and nail against the formidable Kraken, but ultimately fell short in a high scoring loss. F.Mastrocola was behind providing a fast and lethal start for the Kraken as the skilled forward rattled off a hat trick and an assist in the first 17 minutes of the game. Despite facing the early deficit, the Sabres remained undaunted, displaying resilience and grit throughout the entire game. While they kept pace to keeping the game within reach, the Sabres weren’t able to make enough ground in order to gain an advantage. It doesn’t help conceding a ridiculous 13 goals by the time the game ended. Maybe it was because the Krakens offensive fire power became to much to handle for the Sabres defense. The Kraken spread out their wealth with many contributing in the points department. Leading that category was A.Amicone and F.Mastrocola as both players shared the same output producing hat tricks along with a pair assists each. In the end, the Kraken exposed the Sabres play without the ball way to often which explains why they scored nearly two touchdowns in a ball hockey game.

In a game filled with thrilling moments and stand out performances, F.Mastrocola perhaps had the biggest impact by causing damage early on to set the pace of the game. The forward had already completed his hat trick along with an assist in the first 17 minutes alone.

M.Salerno early hat trick sparks tight victory for the Kings

After giving up the games first goal, the Kings gained their lead quickly, and maintained it throughout the entire match. The addition of M.Salerno came a long way as the sharpshooter converted three times just shy of the 22 minute mark. Still, the Bruins were unfazed confident in their ability to keep pace. While the game remained extremely close, the Kings did pull away in the latter stages finding themselves up 8-5 with less than three minutes remaining. The Bruins had no choice but to go into desperation mode by  removing their net minder for the extra attacker. With the net empty, and the pressure mounting, the Bruins aggressive play paid dividends as they capitalised twice on their opportunities on goals by N.Macri and M.Porato. The energy in the Bruins bench surged as they had one more shot on net in order to level what once looked like a lost cause. Despite applying some more serious pressure along with a few shot attempts, the Bruins couldn’t catch that last break as time finally ran out sighing a massive relief for the Kings. The Kings did a fine job playing ahead which always forces the opposition to try that much harder.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Max Salerno of the Kings. From -the opening moments of the game, the sniper used his pinpoint accuracy to find the back of the net three times in less than 22 minutes.

Predators storm out early and never looked back in rout of the Canadiens

In a whirlwind of action on the court, the Predators roared out of the gate with an explosive surge, establishing a commanding 5-1 lead in the early stages of the game. The Predators showcased their offensive firepower with J.Bergola netting a pair, and accurate shooting-from his teammates that helped set the tone. The deficit was no doubt a tall order for the Canadiens to overcome. To their credit, they never once let up as they kept battling back making sure that the Predators kept working hard in order to preserve their lead. M.Danesi sparked the Canadiens bench after bagging back to back tallies only a minute apart. It showed that they tried to mount a spirited comeback by applying themselves much harder. However, the Predators proved to be too formidable to overcome, as they continued to pour on the offensive pressure and maintain their lead with relentless determination. M.Zuccaro had another solid game posting a hat trick and an assist along with D.Carlucci, who also collected four points in the win. As the clock finally winded down, the Predators dominance prevailed , securing an impressive victory over the Canadiens.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Jason Bergola of the Predators. Sometimes its when you produce and not how many. In tonight’s case, J.Bergola’s two early goals set the pace for the Predators injecting a surge of confidence and energy to his teammates.

Z.Giosi’s 10 point performance leads Blackhawks to commanding victory over Wild

It was a tale of two halves as the Blackhawks quickly overcome a slow start to deliver a resounding 14-8 defeat to their opponents. At the heart of the Blackhawks offensive onslaught was Z.Giosi, whose extraordinary skill and playmaking ability were on full display throughout the game. With his exceptional vision and scoring touch, he wreaked havoc on the Wilds defense, finding the back of the net on four occasions while able to set up six goals. Not to far behind him was D.Greco, who also amassed a bunch of points in an eight point display. As the game progressed, the Blackhawks never once slowed down extending their lead with nice connecting plays that resulted in some high lite reel goals. Its not like the Wild couldn’t generate some high end chances of their own. With players such as S.Kalaydjian, C.DeCotis and M.Estrela putting up some nice numbers, it was their overall play without the ball that fundamentally hurt them in the end. 

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Zachary Giosi of the Blackhawks. Its safe to say that the young talent shone the brightest. With four goals and six assists to his name, he dominated the score sheet with his remarkable offensive output.

Red Wings late lead evaporates in stunning collapse to Islanders

The Red Wings came out of the gate firing on all cylinders, displaying exceptional offensive prowess and defensive solidity to build a commanding four goal lead. Their relentless pressure and precision passing left the Islanders struggling to find a foothold in the game, as the Red Wings dominance seemed unassailable. However, as the game progressed, the Islanders began to claw their way back into contention, capitalising on defensive lapses and converting scoring opportunities to chip away as the Red Wings lead. Once the Islanders had pulled themselves within reach, they blew another tire finding themselves trailing by four once again. The Red Wings regained control and positioned for what appeared to be a sure win up 8-4 with only two and half minutes remaining. Then, it looked like an 18 wheeler just fell off a cliff as the Red Wings saw their lead evaporate like water boiling in extreme temperatures. Some lapses in concentration served as a devastating  consequence. Not only did they give up four goals in just over two minutes, but allowed the overtime tally as well after missing out on some brilliant plays to finish it off. Talk about a painful memory in what should have clearly been avoided. The good news is that it didn’t happen in a playoff game. While many contributed up front, S.Giannakis played the hero by ending it with his second of the game.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Stefanos Giannakis of the Islanders. As the game went into overtime, S.Giannakis put an end to what was a game filled with twists and turns that had the whole crowd cheering with excitement.
