The much anticipated start of the Ball Hockey Dek Elite World Division ignited the courts on Tuesday night, marking the beginning of  what promises to be an exhilarating season of intense competition and unforgettable moments. With anticipation running high among players and fans alike, teams took to the court with determination and passion, ready to showcase their skills and stake their claim in the league. The division has six incredible teams involved with four that started their season debut tonight.

Team Canada’s victory over Team Haiti sets tone for the season

In a commanding display of skill and team work, Team Canada made a resounding statement in their season opener, dispatching Team Haiti with a decisive victory that showcased their strength as an immediate front runner in the division. With precision passing, relentless pressure, and clinical finishing, they quickly established control of the game and set the tone for the rest of the match up. M.David made an immediate impression riffling two first period goals. As the game progressed, Team Canada continued to pile on the pressure , extending their lead with each passing period. Its worth noting that C.Gervais made a huge impact as the solid forward was a force producing four points. While the offense will never be an issue along with a structured defence, Team Canada has another vital area covered in their team make up, and that’s their goaltending. C.Lantin occupies that position, and unless you beat him good, the net minder will deny you. Tonight, he faced some decent chances only to have C.Plaisir get the better of him. In the end, Team Canada emerged victorious with a commanding 6-1 win, sending a clear message to the rest of the league that they are a force to be reckoned with.

M-A Haber and O.Wahid help propel Team Pakistan to victory

In a pivotal second period, M-A Haber emerged as the catalyst for Team Pakistan, netting two crucial goals with the help of his captain O.Wahid. As the game reached its critical juncture, Haber showcased his scoring prowess with clinical precision to help put his side up 3-1 heading into the third. It may not have been the result they were hoping for, but Team Armenia’s performance was characterised by moments of inspiration and resilience, as they never allowed themselves to be discouraged or overwhelmed by the circumstances. Instead, they remained focused and committed to their game plan, pushing themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory. In the end, while the result may not have gone in their favour, Team Armenia’s valiant effort and fighting spirit did not go unnoticed.
