Golden Knights rout Rangers in playoff blowout

Led by some of their top players, the Golden Knights proved to be to much for the Rangers to handle. Their offensive prowess was on full display controlling the pace of the game with ease which resulted in to many high end chances. Jason Bergola, although prefers to set up his teammates took a different role tonight. The forward showcased his scoring touch instead, finding the back of the net with remarkable consistency that found the ball its way eight times behind the Rangers net minder. During that mix saw M.DiLena pile up a massive points eight points while B.Panarello had his finger prints on the game sheet setting up four tallies along with a goal. At no point did this game  shift or take a turn with the Golden Knights continuing to apply relentless pressure. All that was left over was for it to end with no light at the end of the tunnel for the Rangers. This result will give confidence to the Golden Knights as they advance with high hopes in the final four stage.

The Blues couldn’t have asked for a better start entering tonight’s matchup with the Senators. For nearly a good half of the match, they took control building a nice 4-1 lead on scoring efforts -from different players. Their offense seemed unstoppable as they converted on a few decent scoring opportunities. Despite facing a significant deficit, the Senators maintained their composure and continued to battle relentlessly. Slowly but surely, they started to chip away at the Blues lead, tightening up defensively and capitalising on their own scoring chances. A key tally came by M.Matteo to pull the Senators within one with less than eight minutes to go. As the game reached its climax, J.Teresi rose to the occasion to tie the game, and pull his side ahead shortly after by rattling off a hat trick. Talk about a clutch performance by one player that had his side down and out to being in the drivers seat with under two minutes showing on the clock. His timely goals sparked a resurgence for the Senators as they’ll be moving on after things appeared to be grim.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Joey Teresi of the Senators. There is no doubt that J.Teresi merits the honour. The Senators are advancing to the next round in large part due to his spirited effort that led to three big goals.

In an exhilarating display of ball hockey prowess, the Oilers emerged triumphant in a thrilling showdown against the Hurricanes, securing a hard fought win in a game filled with back and forth action. From-the opening draw, both teams showcased their offensive firepower, trading scoring chances and demonstrating their skill on the rink. Goals came fast and furious as the momentum swung back and forth, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Amidst the intense competition, S.Ouellette shone brightly for the Oilers, delivering a standout performance that proved to be the pivotal in securing the win. Ouellette’s remarkable effort saw him play a crucial role in all facets of the game, collecting an impressive four points to lead his team to victory. However, it was Ouellette’s heroics in the dying moments of the game that ultimately sealed the Oilers fate. With D.Lipinski tying the match late for the Hurricanes and with tension running high, S.Ouellette delivered under pressure by converting on a penalty shot goal that stuck for the winner.

As the competition intensifies, the Wednesday Draft division has narrowed on to just four formidable teams, setting the stage for an electrifying semi-finals round. With each team having battled fiercely throughout the season, this round promises to be a showcase of skill, determination and sheer grit. The remaining four teams have proven their mettle on the court, demonstrating their ability to compete and overcome adversity to reach this stage of the competition. The match ups are as follows:

(1)Stars vs Oilers(6) Both teams will have confidence entering this round. The Stars led all teams for claiming top spot of the division and will look to continue their consistent success by taking on the Oilers. While the Oilers occupy a sixth seed position, it wont matter to them after handing the Hurricanes a defeat in the first round. Since both teams have the grit and heart to battle hard, anything is possible in this particular round.

(2)Golden Knights vs Senators(5) The Golden Knights are covered in every area of the court. If they simply play their game, they’ll likely advance due to their well roundel roster. That being said, the Senators just came off a thrilling win and will look to build off it as a massive confidence booster.
