In a playoff showdown that will be remembered for a while, the Golden Knights and Senators clashed in a nail biting battle. The game started with the Golden Knights asserting their dominance early on, storming to a commanding 6-1 lead only 19 minutes into the contest. Their offensive prowess was on full display, as they capitalised  on every opportunity and seemed poised to cruise to victory. Its almost imaginable to think that any team would blow such a lead. That being said, the Senators had other plans as they weren’t ready to throw in the towel just yet. With determination in their hearts and a never say die attitude, they began to chip away at the Golden Knights lead. Slowly but surely, one goal led to another, and all of a sudden the Golden Knights appeared to lose their grip on the game. The Senators kept piling on the pressure with everyone throughout their entire line up pitching in. The furious comeback attempt had no heroes or go to players in order to shift the tides. With each goal they scored, the energy in the rink reached fever pitch, fuelling their determination to complete the comeback. Of coarse J.Teresi made his mark felt striking three times. Another pivotal goal came by J.Pizzuco, who tied the game 8-8 on a nifty penalty shot tally. Then, as the game reached its climax, S.Mascitto captured the moment, notching his second on a goal that would stick for good. Talk about a stunning turn of events. While the Senators celebrated a remarkable comeback, the Golden Knights were left stunned and shell shocked, wondering how they had let a commanding  lead slip away in dramatic fashion.

Trailing throughout the entire match, the Stars pulled off a miraculous comeback to tie the game with under a second remaining, before ultimately sealing the deal in overtime. From-the drop of the ball, the Oilers were more engaged, winning the battles that had them storm out to a 4-1 lead. Despite their best efforts, the Stars struggled to find their footing, as the Oilers continued to control the pace of play and maintain their lead. But just when it seemed all hope was lost, the Stars refused to go down without a fight. With time ticking away and the Oilers holding a seemingly insurmountable lead , they dug deep and found another level of determination. Their persistence paid off as they managed to chip away at the Oilers lead, slowly closing the gap as the clock wound down. With mere seconds remaining in regulation, and the Stars still trailing by one, they pulled off the unthinkable. In a moment of sheer desperation and determination ,A.Mason fired a shot that barely beat the sound of the buzzer. As the overtime period got under way, the momentum had firmly shifted in favour of the Stars. Buoyed by their late game heroics, they continued to press forward with relentless pressure until A.Maraj sent shockwaves to his bench by bagging a series winning goal. The players erupted in a deafening roar as his teammates celebrated their resilient effort that has them playing a week-from tonight.
