Centre SportXpo light up Dek Lanaudiere with 4 goal second period
(3)Dek Lanaudiere vs Centre SportXpo(6)
The Centre SportXpo used a big second period when they got goals-from P.Chery,J-F Di Iorio, J-P Moquin and T.Lafleur to break the game open. Despite their decent start, the Dek Lanaudiere looked disorganized during that span as they fell apart giving up a key shorthanded marker-from Moquin. Getting contributions-from all different goal scorers can sometimes make it difficult for an opponent to neutralize their offense. Once an opponent needs only to strangle one forward line offensively to hold down a team, they become much easier to stop and contain. In this particular game, the Dek Lanaudiere had to deal with a team relying on chemistry rather than a particular player or line combination. The message was sent loud and clear-from T.Iannitto that it was time for every member of the CentreSportXpo to step up and provide that essential balanced scoring in order to get the job done. J-P Moquin and M.Dettore were a juggernaut throughout the entire match for the CentreSportXpo as was W.Desrosiers, who continues to impress for the Dek Lanaudiere.
Dek Boucherville get scoring balance in rout of Dek St-Eustache
(6)Dek Boucherville vs Dek St-Eustache/St-Jerome(4)
Part of the key reasons why the Dek Boucherville are doing this well is their ability to get an overall contribution throughout their line-up. Tonight’s win featured six different players finding the back of the net on a roster of only two complete lines. Even though the Dek St-Eustache didn’t get the result they were hoping for, there was no question that they came to challenge a solid hockey team. It was clearly one of their better efforts as they looked ready to work getting a fine performance-from their net minder G.Vermette and O.Laberge, who struck twice in the loss. But high powered offenses tend to find a way to hurt you, and the Dek Boucherville did just that in the short span of eight minutes. Five out of their six goals came as of the eight minute mark of the first period that saw S.Lachapelle strike late in the frame on a tally that ultimately held for the winner.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Jean Philip Moquin of the Centre SportXpo. It was just a remarkable effort-from the Centre SportXpo’s dynamic forward. J-P Moquin was all over the court collecting three points that included a big shorthanded goal.
