Team Greece use flurry of late goals to beat GK Lite

Back with a bang. Team Greece was able to erase a sour taste after losing their season opener only a week ago by taking on the GK Lite on Tuesday night. They addressed many concerns that arose during that game, and it showed as a reactivated Team Greece led the charge. It all began in the first period with P.Arkalis and C.Gingras igniting the offense. Up 2-0 entering the second frame, Team Greece wanted nothing more than to let the GK Lite back into the game. Your almost stuck having to search for the next goal rather than trying to keep a lethal offense off the score sheet. S.Pham didn’t wait long into the second period to finally get his side on board. From-there, the GK Lite waited a while to post their next tally, but they did get there first to even things up thanks to K.Kuczmarski. All of a sudden, this contest was knotted at two goals a piece with the GK Lite gaining momentum. While the GK Lite wave of offense started roll, it was P.Arkalis to take the bull by the horns once more as the forward riffled his hat trick to regain the lead for Team Greece. That tally created an effect throughout Team Greece’s line up as three more consecutive goals were scored in a very short span. P.Arkalis had a monster night collecting his fourth, all with the help of C.Gingras finding him. Every time the GK Lite would press, C.Ekonomakis was there to bail out Team Greece. The net minder was stellar as expected stopping some high quality chances that could have easily beaten him. This was definitely a feel good victory for a side that has the potential to make some noise in this division.
