It really didn’t take long for the Penguins to seize control of this match. Six minutes in, and the score was already 3-0 suggesting another long and difficult night for the Canucks. The Penguins delivered a commanding performance against their opposition , sealing an emphatic 11-4 victory. F.Bchara, with a goal-scoring appetite that seemed insatiable, made his mark on the game bagging a whopping five goals. As the game progressed, the Penguins continued to assert their dominance , widening the goal margin. Despite facing a massive uphill battle, the Canucks salvaged some pride on scoring efforts-from four different players. That being said, it was clear that the night belonged to the Penguins, and more notably, F.Bchara. The Canucks know they can put out a stronger effort with a little tweak here and there with the amount of skilled players they have. In an exhilarating match up between the Ducks and the Sharks, the crowd was treated to a roller-coaster of emotions as the Sharks orchestrated a stunning comeback, securing a thrilling overtime win. The Ducks looked to be in the drivers seat when L.Bucci riffled his second for what appeared to be a safe 5-2 lead with ten minutes left to go. There was no question that it created a challenging situation for the Sharks. Undeterred however, one big play led to another, and the Sharks found ways to bury their chances on three consecutive goals to force an overtime period. J.Pizzucco along with P.Bolduc used blistering slap shots to get the better of D.Apikian. Then, in a climatic moment, F.Houle used his speed to stride down the wing and stuff the ball right under the Ducks net minder to seal the victory. For a team that was down in out, the Sharks fought valiantly to stage a comeback that will be remembered for their never quit attitude.
