Kraken storm out of gate catching the Canadiens off guard

The scoreboard lit up early and often as the Kraken quickly built a substantial lead in the first portion of the game. Scoring efforts came-from different players, but S.Boulerice was largely responsible for the onslaught collecting three primary assists. Their aggressive fore-check and seamless passing created numerous scoring chances, and they capitalised on the Canadiens lapses. The Canadiens, to their credit, managed to respond with a couple of well executed plays, showing glimpses of offensive prowess. The problem was that it started to click a little to late unable to make any significant ground. Its not like the Kraken slowed down either as they continued to push the pace scoring periodically. C.Pirone and S.Boulerice found the back of the net on two occasions, and R.Beaupre was behind orchestrating some plays that resulted in fours assists. In the end, the ability to start strong  and maintain the lead proved to be the difference maker in this particular contest.

Predators overpower Sabres early on en route to decisive victory

The Predators left no room for doubt after taking a commanding 6-1 lead just shy of the twenty minute mark of the game. The games’ narrative unfolded dramatically, with the Predators establishing an early lead that set the stage for their commanding victory. D.Carlucci’s sharpshooting skills came into play as the sniper went on a tear bagging four total goals while setting up a pair. With a dominant 6-1 lead twenty minutes in , the Predators had already asserted their authority on the scoreboard. The Sabres faced an uphill battle but showed resilience by refusing to back down. Part of their comeback attempt stemmed-from J.Choudhry, who converted three times, and M.Testa that was able to bury a pair. However, the Predators remained composed, responding with additional goals to maintain a comfortable lead. Both teams displayed moments of brilliance, and the game evolved into a high scoring spectacle. Ultimately however, the Predators early dominance proved insurmountable for the Sabres. The final score reflected the Predators ability to control the match-from start to finish. As they celebrated the decisive win, the Predators will look to carry their momentum into future encounters, while the Sabres will analyze the game and regroup for their next challenge, determined to bounce back-from this defeat.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Danny Carlucci of the Predators. With his ability to finding the back of the net, D.Carlucci made his shots count, cashing in four times while also setting up a pair of goals.

Bruins overwhelm Islanders in lopsided affair

The Bruins teamwork and chemistry was on full display as they seamlessly moved the ball around the court, creating numerous scoring chances. The Islanders struggled to contain them, and were stuck enduring a long and dreadful night. There were just to many players that had the ability to produce massively up front for the Bruins. T.Nardelli, being one of them, struck five times with four of his tallies coming in a row toward the latter stages of the game. T.Bergomi and R.Santosuosso collected five points each, and P.Petraccione was right in the mix as well collecting four helpers. Many of the Bruins players showcased their scoring touch, finding the back of the net with ease, while the defense provided a solid foundation to limit the Islanders scoring opportunities. There is no question it was a challenging night for the Islanders. The Bruins happened to have some additional help with some solid spares that undoubtedly helped make a difference in the final score.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Tony Bergomi of the Bruins. His exceptional performance on the defensive end was complimented by an impressive offensive contribution, as he recorded a remarkable five assists.

Panthers stuck chasing the game in loss to Blackhawks

Despite striking first, the Panthers were the ones stuck playing-from behind the entire time. The Blackhawks immediately overcame a slow start on four consecutive goals to take control of the match. Rather than throwing in the towel, the Panthers hung in there making the Blackhawks aware that it wasn’t going to come easy. It became clear however that there was to many weapons to contain in order to erase the deficit. The Blackhawks had four different players tally twice each which makes it hard to figure out on who to slow down. A.Martin, D.Greco, Z.Giosi and E.Allen all had two goals while Q.Joseph helped set up for tallies. The balanced scoring attack created match up challenges for the Panthers, and kept them on the defensive throughout the game. As the final buzzer sounded, the Blackhawks celebrated a nice earned win, highlighting their scoring depth and cohesion. The Panthers, while facing a tough loss, demonstrated perseverance and will likely use this game as a learning experience to make adjustments for future matchups.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Zachary Giosi of the Blackhawks. The young talent was heavily engaged throughout the entire contest making plenty happen. By the time the game ended, Z.Giosi finished off with four points that included two big goals.

Flyers maintain control despite Red Wings creeping up

The game was characterised  by fast paced action and intense back and forth play, with the Flyers maintaining their lead throughout, albeit with the Red Wings consistently breathing down their necks. The Flyers never felt safe with their slight leads, but managed to play ahead forcing the Red Wings to keep responding. Leading the charge with an impressive six points, M.Destounis was the catalyst behind the offense setting up many teammates. C.Arnoldo, T.Angelis and D.Fortier all cashed in twice to help provide the win. It came in a losing cause, but M.Taha was riding a hot hand for the Red Wings as his newly cut stick enabled his to rattle off three tallies for the hat trick. J.Pizzuco had a productive night collecting four points as well for the Red Wings while L.Folini and B.DeIeso faired well sharing three points each. It was one of those games that featured a ton of chances, end to end action, and exciting moments for both teams. Destounis’s standout performance, and the Flyers ability to stay ahead in the face of pressure-from the Red Wings contributed to a well earned win for the Flyers.

Wild explode with 4 quick goals to run past the Kings

In a roller coaster of a game, the Wild seized control by scoring four quick goals, breaking a 5-5 tie, and ultimately running past the Kings. The game featured an explosive offensive display, with both teams finding the back of the net frequently. The Wilds sudden burst of scoring proved to be the decisive factor. That sequence had S.Kalaydjian’s fingerprints all over it. The skilled forward broke the 5-5 tie, set up M.DSailva before adding another in just over four minutes. It was a stretch that put the Wild over the top as time started to wind down. With the way T.Settino was carrying the Kings on his back, it was a good thing the Wild pulled head when they did. T. Settino was an absolute force for his side participating in six of the seven goals that included four tallies. Sometimes timing is everything, and the Wild were glad to put it together at crucial point of the game that ultimately led to them to a high scoring victory.
