Nature Boys scoring in quick succession
The Nature Boys offense handily beat down the Excalibur 5-1 and 6-4, in part due to big performances by T.Oliveira, S.Von Schweinitz and A.Larrive. After the Nature Boys turned up the pressure all the way in an easy first encounter, the Excalibur did not go quietly despite dropping the contest. Both teams were neck in neck for most of the match, until a late surge of goals tilted the game in the Nature Boys favour. T.Oliveira delivered the massive blow netting his third and fourth goals of the night only 25 seconds apart that ultimately put a stamp to the night. The Nature Boys look like a complete different team with P.Delli Colli adding some new additions. As for the Excalibur, S.Ruggiero is so far there one constant as the sniper collected five total points that included a hat trick.

P.Karvouriaris destroys Orient with 8 goals
The goals came so quickly and so often-from P.Karvouriaris that it was hard to keep track of them. In four stunning periods for the Punishers, Karvouriaris had scored a hat trick in the opener and an astonishing five more by the time the Punishers put the night way on a pair of victories over the Orient. As remarkable as that was, if there is one player than can achieve such a feat, Karvouriaris is that player. And yes, it does help when you have the right supporting cast feeding you. C.Gingars and K.Kavan combined for eleven points with nearly all of them contributing to Karvouriaris’s incredible onslaught. Normally, the Orient know how to play a solid man on man game and have the ability to neutralise threats-from their opposition. Unfortunately, they didn’t get the memo on this one particular player who single handily did them in.

Classics over match Prolific Athletes on depth
The popular view of the Classics is that they are a deep team with a ton of experience. However, that cant be said for the Prolific Athletes riding with less players. So by comparison, it was perhaps expected that both games went in the favour of the Classics. G.DeMarinis keeps proving that finding the back of the net has become a normal occurrence for the sharp shooter. His four goals and three assists led all players. The Classics got contributions-from much of their roster including a four goal performance by Y.Derohanessian and M.Destounis. Overall, a standard night for a well structured team. The Prolific Athletes never had the luxury to play in front and were stuck unfortunately chasing the game which made matters only worse for the younger squad.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Peter Karvouriaris of the Punishers. The Punishers forward was phenomenal hitting the target eight times to help lead his club to a pair of wins over the Orient.
