Classics roll over Nature Boys
The Classics took no time in this one, with two very early goals scored by F.Casacalenda and K.Araujo. From there, the tone was set for what was to come for the entire two games. At no point did the Nature Boys have the compete level to stay within reach of the Classics. They managed only one goal and were never really in both games. The Classics just kept attacking offensively while P.Assadi did more than his fair share allowing a power play marker throughout the entire night. M.Destounis led the charge in both games collecting five points that included three goals.

Degenerates ride power play downing Prolific Athletes in second encounter
Unable to settle the score in the opening match, the Degenerates caught there break and made the Prolific Athletes pay after an unfortunate major penalty. Both games were extremely close up until that point. Then, in the span of less than five minutes, the Degenerates exploded with four power play goals en route to an easy victory. Ultimately, that sequence proved to be the difference maker after both teams came off a 1-1 draw. A.Lanni’s instinct to be at the right place and at the right time paid off for the pesky forward striking three times in the second match. D.Charbonneau and J.Melo produced plenty -from the back end as both d-men combined for seven points. The Prolific Athletes added some key pieces in Monday nights line up, and if given enough time to play together, things can turn for the better. M.Dalpe was one example as the new addition contributed in all four goals.

Much better effort falls short for the Bad Guys Inc
The Bad Guys Inc got off to a slow start against the Punishers and struggled to match their energy in the opening contest . They gave up four goals and had nothing going offensively with M.Melo stealing the show on a 19 save shutout. After the game came to a close, the Bad Guys Inc were able to string together a better overall performance. However, they weren’t able to reach the finish line first dropping a much closer contest with the Punishers. C.Gingras delivered as he often does scoring twice in the earlier game while adding three more points in the ensuing match. The Bad Guys Inc never had the luxury of playing in front despite keeping the second game extremely close. A.Lepore gave his club their best chance to split the night by collecting three points.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Carl Gingras of the Punishers. There is no doubt he was a big part of why the Punishers took two games versus the Bad Guys Inc. After knotting a pair of goals in the first match, C.Gingras continued to ignite the offense collecting three more points.
