In a high stakes battle of a much anticipated final, the Generals emerged triumphant in Game 1 to take a commanding series lead. The game unfolded as a testament to the sports unpredictability, and the Generals resilience, highlighted by an explosive four goal outburst in the decisive third period. The opening two periods were characterized by a defensive chess match, with both teams showcasing their strength in preventing goals. The Armadillos did pull ahead early in the final frame on a big tally by N.Chiminian. Despite facing the deficit however , the Generals unleashed an offensive onslaught that left the Armadillos stunned on what was transpiring. Once M-A St-Germain potted his second to even the score, O.Valiquette used a huge power play goal to pull ahead. It didn’t take long after for M.Pinheiro to widen the gap and eventually force the Armadillos to play some serious catch-up. While attempting to narrow the gap by pulling out their net minder, D.Lafleur removed all hope by feeding an empty cage, and securing a much needed Game 1 win of the series. The Armadillos now face the challenge of regrouping and adjusting their strategy for Game 2, while the Generals look to maintain their momentum and inch closer to claiming the championship.

In a gripping Game 2 of the E division final, the Armadillos managed to even the series with a hard fought win over the Generals. The tightly contested match provided both benches and fans with another dose of intense action. It didn’t take long for the Armadillos to strike first courtesy of P.Lapointe to send a strong message that they meant business. The lead only lasted so long however when J-R Turgeon levelled the playing field by the six minute mark of the first period. From-there, it was evident that neither team was willing to concede an inch. Both net minders were dialled in with C.Stavriadis of the Armadillos along with P.Blais playing pivotal roles making some jaw dropping saves to keeping the game honest. As the game continued to progress, something had to give, and that’s when M.Arkalis sent shock waves to his bench breaking a deadlock 1-1 tie. His tally came as of the six minute mark of the third period which still left an abundance of time for a Generals response. While the Generals desperately pressed to tie the game, C.Stavriadis wasn’t having it as the goaltender faced some more shots to keep his side ahead. It then got to a point that the Generals had no choice but to pull out P.Blais for the extra attacker. In their attempt to even the score, the gamble didn’t quite pay off as M.Arkalis was there once more to make his presence felt by feeding the yawning cage. The Armadillos felt confident about their chances, but suffered a slight scare when M.Provost-Chenier responded almost immediately for the Generals. Despite narrowing the gap, time wasn’t a luxury the Generals had, and were now stuck facing a hungry opponent in a shorter Game 3 final.

In a nail biting conclusion of the E division championship game, the Armadillos clinched the title with a slender 2-1 victory over the Generals. The championship deciding game was a showcase of skill, determination, and individual brilliance, particularly-from G.Bouchard, who etched their name into the championship lore by scoring both goals for the Armadillos. As often required in a shorter fifteen minute game, scoring first usually comes a long way. The Armadillos got there as of the five minute mark thanks to their general in the back end. The intensity remained palpable as both teams kept battling knowing that their season was on the line. As the tension continued to rise, G.Bouchard struck again, doubling the Armadillos lead sending the Generals in a deeper hole. The Generals tried to respond with increased urgency, but the Armadillos resilience was on full display as they weathered the storm. Even though the score line shows a 2-1 final, the Generals only scored with five seconds left which proved to be a little too late. Then, the final buzzer sounded, and the Armadillos celebrated a hard fought series sparking excitement and celebration throughout their entire bench.
