(3)Jokers vs Concept(7)
Concept finish strong as they hand the Jokers a convincing 7-3 loss on Sunday evening. It took all but eleven minutes for Concept to build a 4-0 first period lead before settling down the rest of the way. B.Daniele had his usual impact, this time scoring twice and adding three helpers to finish with five points. Apart from having a bad start to their game, the Jokers had a bad 30 second sequence as well in period number two where they allowed F.Gentile and L.Viscosi to beat them short handed. J.Poirier did score twice for the Jokers while M.Melo notched the other tally.
(5)Kings vs Hot Shots(4)
Considering the kind of season the Hot Shots have been having, only good things can come out of this result. Apart from giving up a power play goal that may have made the difference, the Hot Shots put up a good solid effort forcing the Kings to play a hard 45 minute game. Out of their five different goal scorers, J.Solari got credited the winner with a tally by the 9:40 minute mark of the third period. The Hot Shots did have R.Scalia beat S.Bentivegna on two occasions.
(2)Les Bakaloo vs French Kiss Mafia(4)
There wasn’t much separating both sides in the standings prior to the match but the French Kiss Mafia showed that they were the better of the two clubs. The French Kiss Mafia possess a key element which most teams are familiar by now as M.Latreille once more gets involved with a goal and two feeds on A.Stamiris and P.Doulis’s tallies. This contest was broken wide open by the second period where the French Kiss Mafia out scored Les Bakaloo 3-1.
Its playoff time as eight teams will battle in a one game quarter-final round to see who will advance. The match ups are as follows:

(6)Les Legionnaires vs HC Inter(2) Quarter-finals
Plenty of depth is always hard to play against as HC Inter found out on Sunday night. Les Legionnaires showed up stacked and rolled three lines to out work their opponents. With the offence spread out , G.Allard Jr did notch a pair scoring twice in the second period where Les Legionnaires dominated the frame 4-0.This result came as a first step for E.Valiquette and his army as they hope to go the distance after falling in the finals just one session ago.
(4)Hulkamania vs Red Vipers(0)
Showing plenty of respect for their opponents, the Hulkamania played a flawless defensive minded game to blank the Red Vipers. The opening goal was key as J.Courteau opened the scoring with his first of three on the night to put immediate pressure on the Red Vipers. After playing a sound first period, Hulkamania broke the game wide open in period number two where they bagged three unanswered tallies to take away any kind of hope from their opponents. The Red Vipers tried to penetrate the solid defence and with close to seven minutes of power play time, they weren’t able to get to H.Trahan.
These results set up the stage for the semi-finals. Once again the Red Nose will go up against Hulkamania who will try and avenge the last time both clubs met in the playoffs while the Butchers look only to head to the finals as they have the difficult task of playing Les Legionnaires.
