Five different players found the back of the net for JAC Motosport as they handed the Seals a second straight loss. He didn’t score but B.Vaillancourt did feed three teammates to finish with the most points for both sides. J.Epinat tallied late in the second period for the game winner and A.Kingsbury faced close to 30 shots to earn the win in nets.
(4)Werewolves vs Carnage(0)
Flawless between the pipes, P.Turturici starts his season on the right track. The Werewolves defended well and bursted out by the second period where they bagged three goals to put the game out of reach. With the score 2-0, G.Delia summed up the night after netting back to back tallies less than a minute apart.
(9)French Connection vs Assurance Evolution(6)
With no solutions for O.Valiquette, the natural sniper had his way converting on six occasions to help lift the French Connection in a 9-6 win. J.Farrese took care of the middle of the court with four helpers and a goal and N.Viau bagged a pair for the positive result. As for Assurance Evolution, D.Cucinotta and J-F Campeau had solid games finishing with a pair of goals each.
(4)Armored Saints vs Legion(6)
Legion owned the second period and scored twice short handed to defeat the Armored Saints. S.Giannakis and J.Driscoll each tallied on the disadvantage and were able to add an even strength goal each as they helped put Legion up 4-2 by the mid way point of the game. Although they didn’t find the back of the net, S.Govas and P.Sidhom each played a significant role combining for six points.
(6)Billionaire Boys vs Street Ballers(4)
New to the league, the Billionaire Boys have something to smile about. In just their second game, S.Bordonaro and his troops tasted victory after dominating the final frame with four goals. J.Velenosi showed his teammates how hockey is played by netting a hat trick and feeding E.Lohatis on two occasions. Each side did a fine job working their power plays notching a pair of goals each that’ saw Y.Dube score one of his two tallies for the Street Ballers.
(6)Stones vs 23rd Hour(1)
Once M.DiLena struck for the Stones, five other teammates followed to oust the 23rd Hour. D.DiGiacomo had the most points with two assists a slick top corner goal and O.Caillet had a solid game between the pipes denying all but one tally. It was J-F Nadeau with his clubs lone marker that came just passed the mid way point of the match.
(4)Chiefs vs Scorpions(5)
Each side battled hard from start to finish but it was the Scorpions that had the final say getting the positive result. After getting his club on the board, J.Goral added assists on both T.Fernando and J.Hedge tallies who each finished with a pair of goals. As for the Chiefs, P.Cardillo accumulated three assists and A.Jalilvand faired well with a pair of markers.
The player of the night goes out to Olivier Valiquette. Its not everyday someone can score six goals but that’s exactly what the sniper did for the French Connection in a wild 9-6 win over the Assurance Evolution.
