(1)Expos vs Dark Warriors(11)
Payam Assadi produced four goals, and J.Rochon riffled a hat trick as the Dark Warriors trounced the Expos 11-1 on Tuesday night. The Expos finished the first period strong when P.KastaniotisJr scored very late to cut the lead in half. However, once the two minute mark of the second period hit, it was all Dark Warriors. The second place seed began their barrage of goals netting seven alone in the second period before ending the game earlier than usually by posting a pair by the final frame. M.Minkiewicz chipped in with a pair of tallies, and E.Girouard along with I.Lesic each had four assists.
(6)Hellenic Republic vs Rhum & Coke(4)
A four goal second period eruption was what the Hellenic Republic needed to oust Rhum & Coke. Three out of those four tallies came from A.Serham alone while the other came off of J.Probonas’s blade which eventually stood up for the game winner. As he often gets his name noticed for the Hellenic Republic, P.Abbiasini had a big third period producing both goals for a comfortable 6-2 lead. It was only a week ago that D.Boyczun of Rhum & Coke merited the honour of player of the night, and tonight it showed once more how valuable he is after netting all four goals for his team.
(2)Smackdaddys vs Spartans(3)
The Smackdaddys often finish the game stronger than their opponents but can’t seem to get the better jump. After falling behind 3-0, the Smackdaddys decided to get the on board as of the third period where they put together two straight goals only to fall short once more. J.Mandracchia made some noise by scoring twice that included the winner, and C.Stavriadis kept his club in it all game denying 30 of 32 shots. With only 9 goals against in five games, the Spartans are the only club to remain undefeated on Tuesday night.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Jonathan Mandracchia of the Spartans. His two goals made a big difference in a close 3-2 result over the Smackdaddys.
