(4)Butchers vs Shockers (11)
Shockers burst out flying en route to easy win
Both C.Debonis and his teammate M.Blackman scored hat tricks as the Shockers eased to an 11-4 win over the Butchers. It’s only three games in and the Shockers are showing what they are made of. From- the ability to scoring plenty of goals and playing a relentless for checking game, not many teams will get there way. Throughout the first twelve minutes, the Butchers smelled defeat conceding five straight goals. That just fuelled the Shockers to continue playing the same way while the Butchers lost the will to compete. In addition to the two hat tricks, T.Salberg added a pair of tallies. The Butchers got their scoring done by their captain E.Mormina, who bagged a pair along with D.DIGiacomo and A.Bouvier.
(7)Lumberjacks vs Team Cuba(7) S.O
Two winless teams settle for draw
With both sides being in a similar situation without collecting a victory, will now have to wait another week or more in order to be in the wins column. Neither side was able to take it home on this night despite trading plenty of goals during the game. The Lumberjacks salvaged their night when Y.Gazura netted his second goal with just less than two minutes left in the game .Unable to get it done in overtime, each team saw only one player-from their side get some scoring done in the shootout. D.Ruiz took care of that department for the Lumberjacks while S.Govas replied for Team Cuba. E.Girouard scored a pair along with an assist for Team Cuba while M.Baccari was the most productive player for the Lumberjacks accumulating five points.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Matthew Baccari of the Lumberjacks. The Lumberjacks defenseman was an absolute force scoring once while setting up four goals.
