(4)Les Immigrant vs Fatal Demons(7)
Four quick goals power Fatal Demons past Immigrant
Powered by four quick goals, the Fatal Demons rolled to a convincing 7-4 victory. Things started to turn around early in the second period where Les Immigrant played with the lead up until that point. In the span of only 30 seconds, S.Koulieris changed the direction of the match with his two wicked wrists shots. The sniper went on to add his third later in the frame and the Fatal Demons never looked back. Although they did suffer the loss, Les Immigrant won both the first and third periods with the help of M.Martino's two early goals.
(5)Sportek vs Brew Crew(2)
M.Dubicki beaming with pride with big hat trick over Brew Crew
It's already hard enough to get one goal against the Brew Crew but M.Dubicki somehow did it three times to help collect a feel good win for his club on Sunday night. The forward has been consistent all season long and keeps showing how significant he is to his team. This win will help their confidence as they just defeated a stingy defense with five goals. C.Flikas helped set up Dubicki on all three markers while M.Chamoun was absolutely stellar in net stopping 21 of 23 shots.
(4)Shockers vs Team Cuba(3)
Chirping rivals go at it, Shockers sneak out victory
At times it sounded like birds migrating but a hockey game did transpire between two teams familiar with one another. Taking the verbal shots away, both sides played a tactical match that ended up favoring the Shockers in the end. Team Cuba did jump off to a better start igniting two first period goals. Then, it was the Shockers turn to return the favor and did so thanks to C.Blunt's back to back tallies. E.Girouard restored the lead for Team Cuba with his patented slap shot from- centre only to see it disappear when J.Collins and M.Blackman answered back for the Shockers. In attempts to even the score, Team Cuba had some very good opportunities late in the game but ran into a tall brick wall in D.Bourque.
(6)Lynx vs Brew Crew(8)
Brew Crew erase earlier loss with bounce back win
The Brew Crew made sure to end the night off on a positive note after dropping their earlier match versus Sportek. And they knew it wasn't going to be easy the way the Lynx have been playing so far with only one loss to their record. But for the Brew Crew, they entered the game as just another day at the office. With the amount of experience they have, it didn't matter who was in front of them. D.Verta, D.Campanella each scored twice and newly added J.Guerriero brought it a step further netting a hat trick in an empty cage. The Lynx made the mistake to not weather the storm against a hungrier side. They gave up three goals in the first seven minutes and had to play catch up all game unable to grab the lead. J.Mason did have a good night posting three goals while his linemate P.Stroubakis was equally solid collecting four helpers in the loss.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Michael Dubicki of Sportek. His three goals helped collect a big win versus a solid Brew Crew team.
