S.Athanasopoulos putting up the points for the Punishers

In both wins over Les Unknown, the Punishers scored a total of nine goals that saw S.Athanasopoulos involved in every single one of them. After notching the winner in a close 3-2 win, Athanasopoulos collected six straight helpers to cap off an extraordinary night. Degenerates taking advantage of a given situation
It wasn't a complicated formula for the Degenerates after eyeing a very short bench. By using their deeper bench to force checking relentlessly, the ball would often end up on their stick, and with that, came plenty of scoring opportunities. Although, the first game didn't come easy at all as the Fatal Demons protected a 1-0 lead for a very long stretch. That was up until L.Folini finally got to B.Verducci passed the mid way point of the final frame. The Degenerates felt something brewing and weren't content on only their equaliser. It took just over a minute-from that point on for N.Guerra to put his club in front for the first time in the match. Now that they put themselves in that position, the Degenerates never looked back including the ensuing game where they never once trailed. J-P.Bertrand scored twice as part of a three point performance and F.Baratta was rock solid in net allowing only three goals.

J.Guye-Perrault red hot on back to back hat tricks
J.Guye-Perrault scored plenty of goals and in bunches to help preserve an impressive season so far for the 1 Timer. And while many had their hand in two easy wins versus the Excalibur there was no doubt that J.Guye-Perrault garnered the most attention. The 1 Timer very simply in a league of their own on this particular night. At no point did the Excalibur pose any sort of threat except for perhaps a couple of minutes in the second encounter. But even though they made it close by cutting the lead in half, the 1 Timer didn't take long to respond and distance themselves on a pair of quick goals. In addition to their explosive offense, the defensive part was equally impressive with F.Koch holding the fort in net. The net minder was sharp once again allowing only one goal in each of the two games.
