Buckshots explode twice in second period to down Brewers
Its safe to say, the Buckshots have plenty of fire power to go around. There top guns showed once more what they are capable of by dismantling the Brewers twice by the second period of both games. M.Destounis, K.Kavan, Y.Derohanessian and N.Kokovidis combined for a ton of points having to play plenty of minutes on a short bench. In a first period that saw both sides measuring up to each other ,the Brewers just didn’t have that extra gear as the game went on. A.Lanni and his club will need to put this one behind them on a night that just didn’t go there way.

Assadi Consulting Inc get wake up call entering second game with Knights
It wasn’t their most convincing win, but credit to the Knights for bringing it till the very end. The Assadi Consulting Inc had to work every inch of their way in order to top the Knights in their mini series opener. Thanks to J.Courteau bagging his second, the Assadi Consulting Inc finally had some breathing room with their first lead of the game. It was clear-from that point on that they didn’t take the ensuing game for granted. That message was sent early on as they surged with three straight goals to take immediate control of the match. Every single player bought into being better early on and relentless which halted any sort of threat-from the Knights. The Assadi Consulting Inc got balanced offense with nobody scoring more than once in their 6-1 rout. N.Gilbert did lead the way collecting four points.

Horsemen hoping to capitalise on Buckshots double header goes sour
The Horsemen took on what should have been a weary Buckshots team that just finished playing an hour ago. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to take advantage of legs that may have felt a little more heavier than usual. Although it was far-from being an easy win, the Buckshots found a way to secure a tight battle. The difference maker can be argued that it came from M.Destounis’s blade. The clever forward broke a 1-1 second period tie on the Horsemen’s very own power play with just over three minutes remaining. Then, just when it would have been thought that the Horsemen may have bounced back, there was no comparison. It just doesn’t explain how the Buckshots man handled their opponent on nine markers. At one point, the goals just kept coming, and the Horsemen couldn’t wait for their night to end.

Fatal Demons cruise to a pair of wins over Family
The game started pretty tight which suggested for a close encounter between the Fatal Demons and the Family. Eventually, that all shifted in a span of about four minutes. The Fatal Demons found their stride and made way with their chances sparking four quick goals to secure a 5-2 victory. A.Zarzour began the madness scoring twice while adding an assist during that time. In hopes of regaining their composure heading into the second match, the Family just couldn’t compete with a more determined group. The Fatal Demons were utterly dominant taking care of every aspect of there game. With scoring not being an issue, the defence was sound and the goaltending-from E.Chidak was exceptional as the net minder stopped all 17 shots his way.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Marino Destounis of the Buckshots. It goes without saying that the Buckshots have there fair share of weapons, but M.Destounis was elite on this particular night. The highly skilled forward collected eleven points with most of them during timely situations of a double header night.
