Snipers' Balanced Attack and Strong Defense Seal Victories vs Sharpshooters

The Snipers started strong, quickly taking control of the game with their disciplined defense and relentless offensive pressure. Key defensive plays kept the Sharpshooters' top scorers in check, limiting their scoring opportunities throughout the match. Many led the charge up front getting contributions throughout the line up. After a convincing 5-1 result, the Snipers weren’t done yet striving for a second straight win. They were able to maintain their momentum despite a closer opening frame that ended 4-3 in their favour. Once they headed into the final frame, the Snipers cohesive defensive strategy left the Sharpshooters with few options, effectively neutralizing their attack. Hadi Khanafer provided a huge power play goal, and H.Awada along with Hadi Khanafer’s second in an empty cage secured another deserving victory.

Shorthanded Goals Propel Degenerates in first game , Hitmen run out of gas in ensuing lopsided defeat

The Degenerates started their doubleheader against the Hitmen with an impressive 7-4 victory, showcasing their ability to capitalize on key opportunities. The turning point came during a penalty kill when the Degenerates notched two shorthanded goals, stunning the Hitmen and shifting the momentum decisively. Those goals highlighted the Degenerates' aggressive and opportunistic play style. In the second matchup, the Degenerates dominated-from start to finish, outpacing and outplaying the Hitmen. The Degenerates took a 2-0 lead after one period suggesting for more to come for how much more control they had. It was clear that the Hitmen had ran out of steam. With their deeper bench, the Degenerates used their man power to win the one on one battles which can only result in high end chances. They were able to add five more goals leaving only the task for R.Ranieri to preserve a shutout. Unfortunately for the net minder, A.Rawalia got to him with just under two minutes remaining.

Classics Edge Out Country Club After Playing To A Draw in First Encounter

The first encounter between the Classics and the Country Club was a thrilling back-and-forth affair that saw both teams trade goals throughout the game. The Country Club thought they had it until A.Argiroudis came through in the clutch to level with only 30 seconds remaining. The shootout didn’t solve much as both sides traded a goal each to end off in a draw. The second game started with both teams trading goals, keeping the score tight and the tension high. Eventually, the Classics managed to get some breathing room when T.Karvouriaris scored a big goal for a 4-2 lead. That didn’t stop the Country Club-from battling back and keeping the game within reach when C.Payette scored shortly after. Since time was starting to run out, the Country Club took the gamble to remove their net minder for the extra attacker. But it was the Classics who took advantage of the situation as they fed the yawning cage twice to secure the win.

OGC triumphed over the Fatal Demons, thanks to relentless effort and crucial shorthanded goals. The game went back and forth in the first period, ending 3-2 in favour of the OGC. OGC's penalty kill was exceptional overall, with shorthanded tallies giving them a decisive edge. Despite a strong push-from the Fatal Demons in the third period, OGC's solid defense and an empty-net goal secured the win. The Fatal Demons' defensive coverage lacked cohesion, allowing OGC to create gaps and produce multiple scoring chances. G.Lallis and F.StLouis rattled off a pair each with C.Gagnon involved in three of the OGC’s goals. After somewhat of a slow start to their regular season, this first win will perhaps turn the tides for the OGC.

DiLena in fine form once more finding the back of the net, not once, not twice, but three times, achieving a spectacular hat trick. Federico had a stellar performance as well, contributing significantly with two goals and two assists. Federico's all-around game and leadership on the floor provided the Hurricanes with the edge they needed in such a high-stakes match. GK surge early in third period to top Capitals

Despite giving up the opening and closing goal of the game, the rest in between belonged to the GK. The Capitals managed to hang in there long enough but eventually realised it was done when M.David and F.Belisle each struck early in the third period for a 4-1 lead. It was clear that the up hill battle from that point on felt unrealistic for the Capitals having to go up against a team can shut anybody down. In his season debut, P-O Girouard did not disappoint forming his brick wall structure stopping close to 20 shots. The win saw four different players cash in with M.David’s third period marker holding up for the winner.

Y.Derohannessian’s late shorty seals the deal for the Black Knights

Y.Derohannessian couldn’t have picked a better time than to notch a shorthanded goal. Although the Black Knights were in front 3-2, that tally pretty much summed up the game between the two sides with just over three minutes remaining. It was an overall solid performance from the two teams with each side carrying the play. M.Ianovale struck first to get the balling rolling for the Montreal As and didn’t give up their first tally till the four minute mark of the second period. Once the game was tied, J.Gagne took over bagging two in a row to put the Black Knights in the drivers seat. A.Lemay did eventually respond to reduce the gap but it was all for nothing as Derohannessian struck shortly after with a huge blow.
